Yellow Corn

Always hope to keep this blog up to date to my everyday life. But apparently this blog is far left behind.

Went to China last month, to participate in a symposium and to visit a field work related to my research. Will write more in the coming post, but today I just want to post up a photo that I took in a village where the field work located.

Agriculture is the main economic activity in this village. Corn is one of the important crops. November is the time to collect the yield, dried under the sun, waiting to be processed or stored. The sharp yellow color and stack of corn in the village, a scenery that cannot be found in the city. Have you ever wander how your food is being serve on the table?
